Effective Strategies One-Stop Career Centers are using to Serve Youth with Disabilities

Center for Workers with Disabilities (CWD): The Center for Workers with Disabilities (CWD) is pleased to release the paper “Transition for Youth with Disabilities:  A Look at State Programs, Progress, and Promising Practices.” The paper was developed and written by Alexandra Suchman and the Youth in Transition Task Force at the CWD.  The paper is available on the CWD website at www.aphsa.org/disabilities.

U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) Technical Assistance Tools: NCWD/Youth partners have developed sets of technical assistance tools to offer guidance in the design and implementation of programs in the field of workforce disability and youth. These six modules were originally developed as technical assistance tools for the state agency networks who are participating in an innovative, grant funded project under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP). www.ncwd-youth.info/resources_&_Publications/technicalassistance.php
