Center for Research, Inc.Youth Transitioning from Foster Care: A Partnership for SuccessThis curriculum is designed to improve services to youth aging out of foster care using a positive youth development approach to training child welfare professionals, foster parents, and school personnel in a state that is privatized. It is based on a set of competencies developed by current and former foster youth. It includes information related to, federal and state policies and procedures, barriers to youth transitioning from care, relationship permanency, effective transitional planning and practices, and a series of videos of current and former foster youth sharing their experiences.
