Critical Competencies for Working with Older Youth in Care

This curriculum focuses on the development of worker skills and competencies for enhancing the development of older youth in care. The six topics covered are: Youth, Self-Concept Needs, Responsible Decision Making, Negotiating Formal Support Systems, Mediating Informal Support Relationships, & Laying a Foundation for the Future.
